Excerpt of The Effects of Implanted Birth Control on Fertility

This paper is an influence paper and was written due to an evidenced based practice course. Myself (Shannon O’Roak), Hanna Freeman, and Sophie Jones examined the effects of birth control on overall long-term fertility rates. We felt that this was a critically important topic since reproductive education is essential to all women of reproductive age. We found that birth control effects fertility rates short term after use, but after approximately 6 months, fertility rates return to normal. This is useful information for women try to become pregnant or trying to avoid conception.
