    Before the presentation and class discussion on human trafficking last week, I had significant knowledge of human sex trafficking, but limited knowledge on human labor trafficking. I knew many of the risk factors associated with sex trafficking we discussed in class, such as lack of social support, financial concerns, housing concerns, and impaired family dynamics. I have lived in Maine my whole life, so I have learned on multiple occasions how prevalent sex trafficking is in our state, which is probably surprising to many. I agree with you that collaboration in nursing is like the inner workings of a clock. There are a lot of intricate pieces that have to work together for the clock to work. The clock also reminds me of the healthcare team as a whole. As nurses, we must work with Doctors, CNAs, Nurse Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, etc. The best outcomes for our patients happen when we can collaborate effectively, which is why it is so important.     When I was searching for a photo that resembled collaboration, I came across this one which really jumped out at me. Collaboration is something that is easily overlooked in many professions where working together is so crucial to success. Nursing is no exception to this, and frequently in the nursing field there is tension between coworkers and other members of the health care team.
