Module 1 & 2 Reflection

While completing the first two ATI modules, I learned an abundance of new information that I didn’t know before. In the testing and remediation module, I learned a lot of helpful techniques to implement when I take the NCLEX. Even though it seems so far away now, before I know it, I will be graduating and ready to take the NCLEX. This module gave me a good summary of what to expect, how to break down test questions, and how to remain calm during the test. In the nursing concepts module, I had heard more of the information referenced in class such as the nursing process and professionalism in the field. It was good to review this information, so I was able to better understand the foundation of nursing.

In all my classes, I am continuously learning about the nursing process, caregiving, and client education. Many of my professors also frequently mention topics or types of questions that I may see on the NCLEX. I find that this is helpful, and it reminds me that all the information I learn in nursing school will build off itself. My new understanding of these modules will help me integrate into the nursing culture because the nursing concepts are the pillars that make a nurse. Understanding the basics of nursing is essential before you can understand the endless complex concepts. All nurses follow the same basic principles, so it is crucial to understand them.
